The National Clinical Safety Assurance Service (NCSAS) can be commissioned to carry out Clinical Safety Cases (CSCs) for digital solutions within NHS Scotland (NHSS). Our multidisciplinary CSC teams have collaborated with both national programs and National Services Scotland (NSS) to develop CSCs for various digital solutions. These have varied in scope and complexity, from short-term, standalone solutions to large scale data migrations and implementations of national systems.

NCSAS is a division of the National Clinical Informatics Service for Scotland (NCISS), which is under the Digital and Security (DaS) directorate. As part of NSS within NHSS, we operate as a not-for-profit entity within a trusted organisation with no commercial interests.
