Identification of project CSC team
NCSAS CSCs are run by a multidisciplinary team. Before undertaking the CSC, a team of CSOs, CSEs and project management support is identified. A lead CSO and lead CSE are nominated to guide the team (both internal and external) through the CSC process.

Agreement of project governance
A senior user from the commissioning programme is identified.

Creation of project folder structure on MS Teams/SharePoint
MS Teams/SharePoint is used to create a folder structure for storage and management of all the documents that are collated and generated as part of the CSC. Access is restricted to the CSC project team. In addition, relevant individuals from the commissioning team are given permissions to access a dedicated folder to deposit key documents required for the CSC.

Kick off meeting
It is beneficial to hold an internal meeting with the CSC project team, including the project manager. During this, the roles of Project Executive and Senior Supplier are allocated as appropriate.
